The Wedding
Weekend

Courtney & Michael are delighted to invite you to a jam packed celebration of our marriage!

A little non-traditional, but a whole lot of fun - precisely the kind of celebration you should come to expect from us!

All of our wedding events will occur on location at the Woods Farm in Jervis Bay, and we invite all of our invited guests to stay with us on-site.

 

Enjoy a little get-away on a stunning property, with a homely welcome dinner on arrival the night prior to the ceremony, a recovery banquet breakfast the following day, and a wealth of extras - animal feeding, pool access and even a free yoga class the morning of the celebrations!

Day 1 - Arrival

Check-in to your incredible accommodation on-site from 3.00pm, and enjoy an afternoon roaming the 40 acre property. Take a tour of the site with the Bride and Groom at 4.00pm so you can get to know your home for the next few days, and then on to the exploring!

 

There are plenty of things to keep you occupied with yard games, giant chess, big jenga or perhaps (if you're game in the middle of winter!) a dip in the pool to freshen up before you join Courtney & Michael, their families and their Bridal Party for a Welcome Dinner in the Veggie Garden at 6.00pm.

Day 2 - Celebrations

Today's the big day! Get it started in the best way possible with a free yoga class run by the incredible staff at The Woods Farm and grab some feed to help make sure all of the friendly farm animals are well fed before the Wedding preparations begin.

Join all of Courtney & Michael's family and friends in The Bush Chapel at 1.00pm to welcome the Bridal Party, and help guide the two lovebirds as they tie the knot, and begin their lives together with a short (but sweet!) Wedding Ceremony.

From there, enjoy an afternoon filled with fun & games, laughter and whole lot of alcohol as canapes are served outside our Reception venue, The Wed Shed! With carefully curated cocktail choices, you'll be sure to get your buzz on (with plenty of non-alcoholic options too!) while the Bridal Party is out and about snapping some memories from 2.30pm. Feel free to duck back and forth to your accommodation if you need a breather.

Then... the party really begins. As Courtney & Michael and their band of misfits return to join you all amongst the lawn games, its time to kick of the Reception. Barn Doors will swing open from 5.00pm, where you can graciously take your seats in a homey, and warm barn.

 

Get comfy (and another couple of drinks into you) while we work our way through the formalities for the evening - we all love a good speech, but it won't be too long until our mouth watering dinner options are presented, and that dance floor starts to look reeeeeal good.

Party hard into the evening (until they tell us to turn off the music at 10:00pm that is!) and retire to your rooms. For those party animals who want to kick-on, the Bridal Parties' houses are the designated After-Party locations, far away from neighbouring properties and the old folks' rooms. Grab a seat around the camp fire, and be sure to keep a glass handy for some more drinks.

Day 3 - Recovery

Ouch. We know your heads will be hurting the next morning... That's why we have organised a smorgasbord of breakfast food to be ready and raring to go from 9.00am. From pastries and croissants, to nuts, granola, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit or bacon and egg rolls - there is sure to be something to get everyone up and out of bed.

And you'll need to be by 10.00am when check-out for on-site guests is required. But have no fear, you're welcome to stay on-site to utilise the pool or visit the animals until 12.00pm.

Not just a wedding -
a get-away!

Accommodation

All of our guests are invited to stay on-site with us at The Woods Farm, where Shared Cottage Rooms & Glamping Tents are being offered at a heavily discounted rate.

No. Not camping... Glamping.

It's camping, but a little bit glamorous.

All Glamping tents are furnished with a beautiful king size bed, beautiful rugs, gorgeous velvetine cushions, a table and two deck chairs, and daybed (which can be folded out to become beds for two more people - up to four to a tent!).

There are share fire-pits with log stools, outdoor chill out spaces with adirondack chairs, tables and chairs, gas and charcoal BBQs and a food truck which has been turned into a basic camp kitchen with  kettle, cups, plates, cutlery, chopping boards and knives etc. You can also cook at the BBQs located in the pool house or the pizza oven in the veggie garden.

The glamping tents have a communal bathroom with separate male, female and accessible showers and toilets. We supply shampoo, conditioner and body wash. 

The Cottages

For those who need a little extra love, limited spaces in Shared Cottage Rooms may be available.

The Cottages on-site will be the official locations for the Bride & Groom, their Wedding Party and their family members - so many of them have been

pre-allocated.

 

But there are certainly some spaces for some of our guests (especially those likely to party on!) and for those who may need a more suitable sleeping arrangement. The cottages are well-furnished homes, with 2 Queen Beds, 2 Single Beds, and 2 Day Beds for a total of 8 people to a room. Each cottage has its own bathroom/toilet, as well as full kitchen, and a firepit to boot! 

Those with pre-allocation to rooms will be contacted by Courtney & Michael. You of course have the option to stay in a Glamping Tent, should you prefer - but it's first in... best dressed, as they say!

Gift Registry

Your presence at our wedding is present enough. We know there are plenty of costs involved in ensuring you can celebrate with us, including accommodation so we do not ask for any wedding gifts.

We will never say no to a nice card (and we also know there are some of you who will ignore this statement entirely) so a wishing well will be placed at our reception for anyone who wishes to leave a lovely card or keepsake for us.
